Position Overview:

As the President, Private Mortgages – Commercial, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to our commercial private mortgage business. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of commercial real estate finance, private mortgage lending, and a proven track record of leading high-performing teams. This role requires a visionary leader who can drive growth, cultivate key relationships, and enhance our position as a leader in the commercial private mortgage market.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership:

   • Develop and implement the strategic vision for the commercial private mortgage division, aligned with overall company goals.
   • Drive business growth through innovative strategies and market differentiation.

2. Team Management:

   • Lead and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.
   • Provide mentorship and guidance to senior executives within the division.

3. Business Development:

   • Foster relationships with key stakeholders, institutional partners, and industry influencers.

4. Risk Management:

   • Oversee risk assessment and management strategies for commercial private mortgage transactions.
   • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

5. Financial Performance:

   • Drive financial success by optimizing deal structures, monitoring portfolio performance, and managing expenses.
   • Work closely with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate reporting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of executive leadership experience in commercial real estate finance, with a focus on private mortgages.
• Proven track record of successfully growing and leading a commercial lending division.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and risk management in the private mortgage sector.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
