The Opportunity:

We’re hiring a Commercial Credit Analyst / Underwriter to support our Commercial division and work directly with one of our Vice Presidents of Commercial Lending.

If you’re detail-oriented, comfortable with numbers, and ready to contribute to real estate transactions worth millions, this role offers a fast-paced environment with big potential for growth.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Financial Analysis & Underwriting
• Build financial models and cash flow projections
• Analyze borrower statements, property income, and lease terms
• Underwrite files for conventional and CMHC-backed loans
• Review third-party documents (appraisals, rent rolls, legal docs)

Deal Execution & Collaboration
• Coordinate with brokers, lenders, lawyers, and consultant
• Track project funding, ensure compliance, and support due diligence
• Prepare memos, organize documentation, and support closings

Who You Are:

• You’re a self-starter with:
• 2+ years of experience in commercial credit or real estate underwriting
• Strong analytical and Excel skills
• Familiarity with financial metrics like DSC, LTV, LTC, and ROI
• Bonus: Exposure to construction financing or real estate development
• A degree or diploma in Finance, Real Estate, Business, or related fields
