My name is Jasmine Kaur, and I am excited to begin this new chapter of my professional journey as an Inside Insurance Sales Manager with Legacy Mortgage Group.

I believe that change in life creates opportunities for growth, learning, and success. I spent about 15 years working in nursing, where I developed strong communication, critical-thinking, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. My nursing career taught me the importance of listening carefully, understanding individual needs, working collaboratively with a team, prioritizing responsibilities, and remaining calm and organized in challenging situations. These experiences have provided me with a strong foundation that I can carry forward into my career in insurance.

 

Transitioning into the insurance industry has been an exciting opportunity for me to build on these skills in a new professional environment. I am passionate about helping people understand their insurance options and making the protection side of their financial planning easier to understand. I look forward to continuing to learn about the industry, developing my knowledge and expertise, and building meaningful relationships with clients and colleagues.

I am grateful and enthusiastic for the opportunity to be part of the Legacy team. I look forward to contributing my experience, learning from the people around me, and continuing to grow both personally and professionally in this new career.

 

Outside of work, I enjoy travelling, reading, and dancing. I love exploring new places and cultures, getting lost in a good book, and expressing myself through dance. I believe these interests keep me curious, open-minded, and continuously learning.
